So here is my first ever yoga video. This is the first in a series of videos that I am uploading for my mum in South Africa. My mum has very painful knees and I wanted to show her how to adapt the yoga to suit her, because as my teachers Ruth and Sharon always say, don’t adapt the body to suit the pose, but adapt the pose to suit the body.
This first video is just a warm up that can be done before any of the other videos that I’ll be uploading. Th enext video will be ‘Chair Yoga for painful knees’, a yoga sequence using the aid of a chair to avoid getting up and down off the floor, and to help take away any unecessary strain on the knee joints.
