Links for the weekend

It’s Friday again, and this weekend is exciting for Banjo, my husband and I… My dad and his wife are visiting from South Africa this weekend. We will be spending the weekend with them in the New Forest. This will be Banjo’s first visit to a hotel. I’ll be posting some photos next week.

In the meantime, here are some links to enjoy over the weekend.

1 { Vinyasa teacher based in the states, Kathryn Budig, has a new dvd that’s just released. It’s called Aim True, and if you’re into vinyasa yoga, I reckon this will be a good one! Find it here.}

2 { Does fresh berries topped with whipped cram sound good to you? What about decadent chocolate mousse?Then you will love these healthier dairy-free version where the whipped cream is made from coconut milk cream instead. Coconut milk is high in fat, but it’s the right kind of fat that is great for you.}

3 {  Take a moment to read this fantastic article about “7 Reasons to be happy even if things aren’t perfect now”}

4 { Need some inspiration to do yoga at home, but don’t want to spend money on a yoga dvd you’ve never tried? Esther Eckhart from Yogatic has tons of free yoga videos on YouTube that you can access from her website. I often use these videos if I need to squeeze in a quick practice but lack the motivation}

5 { Being mindful everyday takes practice, so a great way to practice is to apply mindfulness to specific tasks. The Leaping Hare Press have released a series of books called ‘The art of mindful…” on topics such as walking, gardening end even raising chickens. And they have a beautiful binding.
